I restarted watching Iris today from the second episode. I had watched the first episode when the drama was airing, but decided to put the drama on hold at the time, since the wait between episodes would have been unbearable with this kind of an intense dramatic series. Based on the first episode, Tomoya Nagase's spy drama Karei Naru Spy looks like silly brainless fun reminiscent of Maxwell Smart (SHOE PHONE!!!! XD), Austin Powers and the Bond movies. I.e. pretty silly, but with the occasional serious moment.

This Summer's jdrama crop is getting more and more exciting!!! First there was the news about the first full-length Takki drama in so many years, about a conflict between Good and Evil with fellow Johnny Nishikido Ryo. Heh, I've heard the original Matchy version of "Andalucia ni Akogarete", but I still think those all-stars versions like the Matchy Tribute with Higashiyama Noriyuki, Akasaka Akira, Domoto Koichi, Imai Tsubasa etc., and the various Countdown performances are better :).

I've now watched through all the material on my new Tackey & Tsubasa concert DVDs. I can't decide which concert I prefer. My first impression was that the Best con was extremely well filmed, but when I watched the Spring Con it seemed so very energetic.
